It's hard to believe, but 2nd semester is almost over! The last official classes were on Friday... one more ministry trip (to Egypt!), wrap-up week, then I'm headed home!
I don't think I'll really see how much I've learned, changed, and grown until I'm home again, but I already see so many things that God has taught me.
Like, my God is a God who dances.
Yes, He's holy and righteous- but He's also full of perfect joy and laughter. He delights in His children; He laughs. He sings- and it's a beautiful song that He wants His people to dance to.
He's proven to my heart that He cares about both my deepest desires and the seemingly insignificant details- from how much sleep I need (and when I need to wake up early to bask in His presence)- to unplanned, spontaneous trips back to beloved Pattaya.
He's reminded my heart that His approval is a million times more important than the acceptance (or rejection) of the people around me.
He's been teaching me what it means to speak the Truth- even when it's hard for people to hear.
The Redeemer has reminded me again and again that He cares deeply for the women and children of Thailand's streets and He will not forget them.
He's shown me that His strength is made perfect in my glaring weaknesses, and the God that called me will sustain me.
He's taught me to ask; He's increased my faith.
Abba has showed me the power of forgivenss and replaced the bitterness with joyful freedom.
And He's gently calling me to LOVE- recklessly, with abandon- everyone around me. Because love is greater than the other gifts, because love points directly to Him and shows the world Who I'm living for.
