Claudia Came!

The dear friends, Claudia and James, went home Wednesday morning. 

//Better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all, I always say.//

We had a wonderful time with the Barkmans...hanging out with the neighbor kids, visiting Blossom, cliff-jumping (kinda), watching and quoting Julian Smith, and many late-night talks on the roof.  We laughed, we (almost) cried. 

I love how we're such good friends with Claudia and James that they can be honest with us, challenge us to become better people...  They see our faults, and they still love us.  I thank God for them.

Dear Cloud and Jamie.  It was incredibly wonderful.  Come back soon, because Jamaica sure isn't the same without you two.

I was struck this week with the incredibleness of the fact that GOD IS UNDEFEATED.  No matter what happens, we know that, ultimately, Jesus is the winner.  If God wants something to happen, then no one will be able to stop Him.  "And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?  And if our God is with us, then who can stand against us?"  I love that.
